What does it mean to own your daily practice?

To me it means it is a daily practice that is aligned with who I am as a person, my goals and dreams.

A practice that belongs to me and suits my lifestyle and my personality.

It means a practice that challenge my fears and boost my passions.

Down below I share some insights I have experienced while creating my own practice for success.


It`s all on you

You are the responsible one for everything you do from morning until night.

All your successes and all your mistakes are your own responsibility.

Don’t blame others or situations when things go wrong because it`s all about you.

Don’t make excuses because everything you do daily is your choice.

Your daily choices have consequences for you in a positive or negatively.

Turn your fear into success

Have you ever been so scared of something that you thought you were going to die?

What if your fear could become your best experience ever?


One of my best experiences was when I worked for a large company as a coordinator.

I was going on a trip with a customer group to practice teambuilding.

Little did I know that one of the activities was rafting.

I had never rafted before.

I told myself rafting was dangerous and I believed that but I did not tell anyone because I was afraid to show I was afraid.

The day for rafting came and my stomach went like a tornado. I felt the fear in every inch of my body.

As we came down to the river I could see the power of the river.

I almost wet my pants just by the thought of going into this.

My face was pale and everyone could see I was far out of my comfort zone.


I decided to do it despite my fear – to conquer it.

It was scary and while rafting down the river there were moments I regretted it all and thought I would never survive.

In retrospect, it is one of the moments in my life I felt really proud and truly happy.


It turned out to be an experience for life and gave me valuable life lessons.

I conquered my biggest fear at that moment. I turned my fear into success.

You can turn your fears into success. Don’t worry what others say or think.

Practice trust in yourself

If you don’t trust in yourself who will trust in you?

Have you ever thought about that?

You have to trust in your daily practice for success will lead you to your goal and dreams.

I know you can do whatever you set your mind and heart into.

You need to believe that as well.

You got this!


Don’t be afraid to be ambitious

Who are you to be ambitious? Who do you think you are?

Don’t ever think you are better than us….

Heard it before?

I think we all have been in surroundings that are so jealous, insecure and fearful.

Don’t listen to them. Surround yourself with people who believe in you and support you.

Don’t be afraid to chase your goals and dreams.


You must be bold every day and dare to do things others don’t if you want your success.

Let the others take care of themselves – their own insecurities and fears.

Remember it is your life and you only have one.

Practice self kindness

Self Kindness is more important than people think.

What does it really mean?

You can be kind to yourself every day:

  • Do something you like every day.
  • Say something nice to yourself every day.
  • Give yourself a hug or a compliment every day.
  • Make it a habit to practice self kindness every day.

It does not mean that you should buy yourself a chocolate every day. Not at all.

Self kindness empower your trust in yourself, your self-confidence and your overall well being.


Do what is necessary and possible for you

A daily practice for success demands that you do what is necessary to move towards your goals.

Ask yourself these questions:

What can I do today to get closer to my goal?

Write down your answer and go do it.

What can I do that gives me energy?

Write down your answer and go do it.


It is not a good idea to do things you can not master or is out of reach at the moment.

That will only demotivate you. And you don’t want to be demotivatet Am I right?

You don’t buy a new house if you don’t have the money. Do you?

You don’t run a marathon if you never ran before. Do you?


Do one thing at a time and do it the best way you know how to it.

Take small steps every day. You only compete with yourself.

Make sure what you do every day focuses on your goal.


When you do what is necessary and possible everyday you come a long way.

You will se results over time of everything you have achieved.

My advice must be to enjoy the process as much as your goal.

Be grateful

Do you thank yourself and others every day?

I am sure if you write a list every day over everything you are thankful for it is going to be longer than you think.

When you are grateful there is no room for doubt, fear and anger or negativity.

It can be smart to make it a habit to write down all your blessings every day.

Make it happen

Take the necessary actions every day in your daily practice for success.

The only way you fail is if you never try or give up.

Create a clear success goal today and think about what you can do to reach it.

Write down the 5 most important steps you need to make to reach your goal.
