Setting up the Tailwind account for Instagram and Pinterest is easy – Click here – A guide will lead you through the whole process of setting up .

Setting up features like smart loop and Smartbio is not 100% foolproof but if you follow the video tutorial first you will do fine.

Autopost was easy to understand how to do with help from the guide and videos.

Bulk upload is not 100% foolproof. I used some time to get this right and understand it properly.

Creating a tribe and finding a tribe went fine without any difficulties. Easy to follow instructions.

All in all how to videos and guides makes it easy for a beginner to set it all up.

Could my grandmother do this without any difficulties? It is not that foolproof, but it is definitely not difficult as long as you follow the instructions before you do anything.

2. How fast is Tailwind Support?

Tailwind support is run by a bot and have built in questions and answers. A lot of answers you will find there.

However, if you have a more special question to ask it takes time before you get an answer.

But once you get help you get very good customer service and they do their best to solve your problem.

Let us take a closer look at the features:

Tailwind's Interval Pin Scheduling feature

This feature allows you to spread out your content over time in an organic and interesting way. You will get an in- depth tutorial video that shows you how it is done. This is a very useful feature. It places pins in open time slots in your schedule. With one click at the board you are about to pin you can select the pin to be interval.

Smartloop: helps you save time and power up your growth and boost your traffic. Allows older post to be re pinned. I like the smart loop tool. Once I started using the smart loop I noticed a remarkable increase in traffic and interactions. I would strongly recommend using the smart loop. Save time and get a boost!

Tribes:

Tribes helps you with connecting with other marketers and users and give you more visibility. Tribes allow helping others grow as well. Every tribe have their own rules. You will get an in- depth tutorial video on how to add and run a tribe.

I made a rule in my tribe if you add a pin you must share a pin. Add 1 share 1 is a good rule.

 

 

Smartbio:

Have you ever wondered what this emoji means?????This emoji is the symbol for Smartbio for Instagram. You add a Smartbio link to your Instagram bio and people can click on this link to get an overview of all your posts. There is a possibility to categorize your posts personally as you see I have done in the picture above. You have the possibility to link your posts to relevant websites with a call to action button.

Hashtagfinder:

When scheduling a post the hastagfinder suggests the best hashtags for you. You have the possibility to also create your own lists of hashtags to add to certain types of posts. The hashtags are grouped into niche, good and competitive.

Tutorials for Tailwind for Instagram, Tailwind for Pinterest helps you master Tailwind.

Autopost: Tailwind schedules your posts automatically if you want.

Bulk import tool: allows you to upload many posts into a bulk or into loops. This is a time saver deluxe.

Facebook cross-posting – this is a good feature that allows you to immediately upload your post to the FB page at the same time as you post the pin to Instagram. It is not automatic – a checkbox let you have the choice to do it or not.

Pinterest cross- posting: this is a good feature that allows you to immediately upload your post to Pinterest at the same time as you post the pin to Instagram. It is not automatic – a checkbox let you have the choice to do it or not.

You have the possibility to see all data, organic data, Promoted. You see engagement, interactions and target audience for a pin, a board or all. This is very useful data. It allows you to see what pins are doing well and which ones that are not doing well.

At start, you need to try out different pins and go from there. I find it easier to plan my pins and know which ones to re pin or not.

Pin inspector have an in depth tutorial.

With the inspector you will be able to see data for up to 5000 pins with the plus plan.

You have the possibility to filter data from boards.

I think Tailwind have very smart and useful features that is actually driving more traffic to your site.

I would recommend using a mix of all the features to grow traffic to your blog, business, website.

For me it is definitely the smartest choice to become visible.

I think the price is nothing to complain about. It is an affordable price for a blogger, small business, Affiliatemarketer etc.

7. What I like about Tailwind Plus

I like to try before I start using a product. And I like that Tailwind gives you a free starter trial.

Personally I find it easy to schedule my posts to many platforms at once. I do not have to make one for Instagram, one for Pinterest and one for Facebook. I love the All- in -one functions and especially that you can choose not to post certain posts to the other platforms. Using my Facebook different from Twitter and Pinterest so I like to choose what to post where.

9. What I Like least about Tailwind Plus

I have experienced that I have to reconnect to my account and that some of my posts are failing. As soon as I reconnect I can reschedule my posts as normal. It is not a big problem but a bit irritating when it happens. It can happen if you have multiple accounts with different passwords and you switch between them or if a board is deleted or if the account is in Safe mode.

I am sure that Tailwind is the smartest choice for all of these because it will for sure boost your visibility and traffic.

To me it has been a life before and after Tailwind Plus. The cross publishing with Facebook, pinterest and Instagram makes it so easy and save so much time.

It is not a foolproof program and it is not a free program, but easy enough to learn because of good tutorials. All in all I would say this is the smartest choice of tool to become visible, to grow, boost traffic and connect with your niche audience there is in the market at the moment. The only thing I do not like is when I have to reconnect to my account.

But my recommendation is clear: be smart, save time, Save money, be visible and start using Tailwind.
